Facilitation is the art of leading a group, an organization to develop a collective response to a complex question. To do this, we set up a secure framework that will use collective intelligence techniques (including brainstorming, design & critical thinking, etc.) and postures adapted to the intention and energy of the group.

A four-part interactive program from Genos International designed to equip leaders with the knowledge, tools, techniques and frameworks needed to facilitate effective leadership coaching.

To create an atmosphere conducive to change management, engagement and resilience, organizations need to invest in training that brings a coaching style to leadership. Change is a fact of life and it has been said many times that leadership is about dealing with change. Professional coaching supports a long-term strategy to reduce growing tension and uncertainty among employees.

 

The changing business environment presents challenges for leaders at all levels. Leaders must understand, guide and direct people more than ever in order to create and support employee well-being, productivity and company culture. Coaching conversations are the foundation for all of these leadership actions.

 

Many leaders may struggle with these discussions or misunderstand the role of coaching as a leadership tool.

 

The Genos International Leader as Coach program is designed to equip leaders with the knowledge, tools, techniques and frameworks necessary to facilitate effective leadership coaching.

The support structure

  • Discover four immersive learning modules that we lead. Each module includes inspirational content, practical tools, techniques and activities. You will learn with your cohort of peers and interact with us, who as quality facilitators develop emotional intelligence with teams and individuals every day.

What improvements to expect? 

  • After each module, you will have the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques on and off the job to help improve the way you connect, communicate and influence others. Additionally, as participants, you will have the opportunity to complete a Genos Emotionally Intelligent Leadership assessment provided during the program to kick-start and support your emotional intelligence development through one-on-one debriefing.

  • How to develop rapport with others, authenticity and trust in your interactions

  • Using self-awareness and active listening to be truly “present” 

  • Skills in asking powerful questions to facilitate understanding of others and context

  • How to Provide Effective Feedback Carefully 

  • Guiding conversations towards actions and commitments of achievement

  • Techniques for adjusting coaching approaches according to context

  • Follow a conversation framework for constructive coaching conversations

Commitment & alignment of employees is a central issue of current leadership. Our facilitation, which is particularly robust because it is well equipped, takes place in two stages:

Facilitation at Executive Committee level

  • Indeed, the alignment is done from the top (the Southern cross) just as the commitment is measured in the teams but aggregates at the top. In fact, we will discuss, "Southern Cross"; measuring engagement; Four-quarter evaluation; structures for engagement and benchmarks for alignment; the creation of a culture of commitment finally, we will ask THE key question for the Executive Committee.

The second stage is that of Facilitation for Managers:

  • Our approach aims to dissect together the results of the collection carried out upstream and this, at the finest level, to question, among other things, the style of Leadership and above all to have a roadmap, contextualized plans contained in a Playbook created in Collective Intelligence .
